Upon arriving at our factory, the rug is tagged, measured, and inspected for visible stains, tears, or other issues. The rug is dusted using compressed air to effectively and safely remove all dry particles such as dust, hair, and debris, ensuring that it's free of any loose dirt before the washing process begins.
Shampoo cleaning was widely used until the 1970s when encapsulation technology became available. While shampooing can seem effective for heavily soiled rugs, it leaves behind a significant amount of wet foam that dries slowly, often becoming sticky since no rinsing follows, leading to quick re-soiling.
The rug is thoroughly rinsed to remove all contaminants and odors. It is then gently scrubbed underwater to ensure deep cleaning.
Following the washing, the rug goes through the wringer machine. Wet rugs are extremely heavy and can develop mildew if not dried promptly. The wringer helps extract most of the water, reducing drying time significantly.
Immediately after water extraction, the rug is brushed and groomed, then moved to our drying tower room. Rugs are dried in a computerized, temperature-controlled environment that replicates natural drying conditions, ensuring quick and thorough drying. For older rugs that can’t withstand this method, a natural drying process is used. After drying, rugs are inspected, and if necessary, sent to the repairs department. Rugs that only require cleaning go through quality control, brushing, and packaging.
Once cleaned, your rug is stored in our specially designed storage room, where it remains safely until it is delivered back to you at your convenience.
